The wine has a typical Barbaresco nose of wild berries, plums, liquorice and coffee. Despite its strength and intensity, the wine is known for its elegance and multi-layered finish with fine and silky tannins.
the wine is aged in barriques for 12 months, before spending a further 12 months in large oak barrels.
Best served with pasta, veal, rabbit, venison.
